Catalogs can be defined for Movies, Music, Photos, Recorded TV and custom modules.
To define a catalog, select the catalog type from 'Module type' and click on 'Add'. Give it a name and click on OK. Standing on the new catalog line in the list, click on 'Add Path...' to select a data path for the catalog. Catalog can have unlimited number of data locations.
DVD/Movie data format may look like that:
Data Root
Movie Title --> DVD movie
VIDEO_TS\...
Another Movie Title --> Multi-Disk DVD movie
Disk1
VIDEO_TS\...
Disk2
VIDEO_TS\...
Movie Title --> Movie/Series with Video Files
File1.avi

Music data format may look like that:
Data Root
Artist
Album
Track1
Track2
...
Music files can also be located in more 'free form' way, assuming they have appropriate artist/album/track metadata embedded in them.
