EditInstallation
1. Run the Got All Media Configuration application.
2. Select
Plugins from the left bar.
3. Click on
Add...
4. Navigate to the plugin location on the hard drive. Plugins provided with GAM installation are located under UserPlugins directory of GAM installation.
5. Select the plugin dll. f.e. GAMWeather.dll or GAMNews.dll.
6. Click OK in the
Plugin Registration screen.
7. Select the plugin from the list and click on
Configure... to configure the plugin.
EditFeeds
1. Go to Plugins screen as above.
2. Click on
Select Feeds... to open the
Feeds Assignment dialog.
3. On the left are listed
Design Feed Placeholders in the current design.
Example:
- 'rect-feed' is the rectangular Feed place on the left of this screen.
- 'rect-line' is the line Feed place on the bottom of this screen.
4. Select a placeholder from the list.
5. On the right are listed all the
Available Feeds and
Selected Feeds for this placeholder.
6. Add or Remove Feeds as needed.
7. Each Selected Feed has 2 optional parameters:
Update Rate and
# of Updates.
Update Rate is the rate of update of the feed information in milliseconds.
# of Updates is number of updates from the feed before going to the next feed.
EditTypical example including Weather and News feeds
This example assumes the Weather and News plugins were installed and configured as above. Weather plugin needs to be configured with valid zip/city. News plugin needs 1 or more selected sites in the configuration.

Rectangular Placeholder Selection

Line Placeholder SelectionRectangular Placeholder will contain the Weather (rectangular) feed updated every 40 milliseconds. Line Placeholder will contain News and Weather line feeds - looping 4 News feeds then 1 Weather feed.
